Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association

The Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association (SRCBA) covers the areas of Roanoke County and the city of Salem. The main focus of the Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association is to promote improvements in the law and legal practice in Salem and Roanoke County. In order to achieve this goal, the Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association works closely with the Roanoke Bar Association to improve the legal community in the region, often actively inviting the members of the Roanoke Bar Association to attend its various events and programs.

Something that the SRCBA puts a significant amount of emphasis on is the professional improvement of its members. To that end, the Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association regularly hosts day- or afternoon-long seminars full of continuing legal education courses that are offered to its members for free or a reduced cost. Additionally, the Salem-Roanoke County Bar Association ensures that its members are informed about the latest local court decisions by posting links to state and federal court opinions on its Facebook page as soon as those opinions are made available online.
