The Korean American Bar Association of Washington (KABA) has been in existence since 1991 and is a member organization of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.’ The mission of KABA is to provide professional development opportunities for members and serve the local community.

The Korean American Bar Association hosts numerous CLE opportunities, social events, and participates in a number of functions designed to help the community. A few of the social events hosted by this organization are a holiday party, law student happy hour, and an annual banquet. KABA also maintains a mentorship program that pairs law students with lawyers and offers scholarships to qualifying law students. The Korean American Bar Association also serves the community by offering pro-bono clinics to members of the community.

Membership in KABA is free for law students, $35 a year for public sector attorneys, and $40 year for private sector attorneys. Membership in this organization also provides you access to the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
