Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association

The Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association (EDWBA) strives to serve the federal legal community located in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. The primary purposes of the EDWBA are to help ensure that those living in Wisconsin’s Eastern District receive the legal help they need, maintain a community among both those practicing in the federal courts of the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the judiciary that preside over those courts, and keeping its members informed of important developments in the federal law and the local federal practice community. Additionally, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association concerns itself with educating young people in Wisconsin about the judicial system through its Kids, Courts, and Citizenship program.

Lawyers that are members of the EDWBA frequently take advantage of the many membership benefits. Throughout the year, the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association hosts social events such as the annual Evening at the Courthouse in order to provide its members a chance to socialize and network with one another. Attorneys belonging to the EDWBA are afforded several ways to continue their legal education, including attending educational courses that the Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association holds periodically and reading the continuing legal education materials that the EDWBA posts on its website.
