The Western District of Wisconsin Bar Association (WDBA) was founded in 1992 to serve the needs of the federal lawyers working in the Western District of Wisconsin. The WDBA strives to be a liaison between the federal lawyers of Wisconsin’s Western District and the judiciary serving in that district, helps effectuate the administration of justice in the District Court, advances the practice of law, and aids the general public. In order to efficiently further its goals, the Western District of Wisconsin Bar Association limits its active membership to only attorneys that are licensed to practice in the federal Western District of Wisconsin.

The WDBA offers several perks to the attorneys that choose to join. For new lawyers, the Western District of Wisconsin Bar Association offers a mentorship program that pairs new members with more experienced attorneys. Additionally, the WDBA works with other local bar associations to provide its members with chances to attend continuing legal education seminars.
