Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia

Established in 1981, the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia (DTCWV) strives to support the civil litigation defense attorneys of West Virginia. The predominant goals of DTCWV are to advance improvements to the civil judicial system, assist in the professional development of its members, and further the practice of civil litigation throughout the state. Membership is only open to lawyers that regularly work as civil defense litigators in the private sector and the paralegals that work for them.

Lawyers belonging to the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia enjoy a wide variety of perks. For example, the counsel offers extensive educational programming to its members, including a Deposition Boot Camp and numerous continuing legal education seminars.
