Incorporated in 1990, the Wyoming Association of Local Government Attorneys (WALGA) was established for the benefit of the lawyers employed by Wyoming municipalities. WALGA commits itself to furthering the professional development of its members and fostering a sense of community amongst all of the Wyoming attorneys working in the area of municipal law. The Wyoming Association of Local Government Attorneys also acts as the legal community’s affiliate of the Wyoming Association of Municipalities.

Lawyers often choose to join WALGA in order to gain access to a number of member benefits. The Wyoming Association of Local Government Attorneys provides its members with a chance to network and socialize with one another at the conference that it hosts each year. Attorneys belonging to WALGA can stay up to date on pertinent legal issues by attending continuing legal education seminars hosted by the Wyoming Association of Local Government Attorneys.
